The historical town of Wollombi is a short country drive. We are only 400 metres to access a section of the Great North Walk where you can walk to the top of the mountain or further. Bring your mountain bikes to enjoy a quiet easy ride through this spectacular pastural valley.

Murray cottage

Murray is a two-bedroom cottage with two queen beds. It has beautiful views of neighbouring vineyards, and is quiet and peaceful. For weekend bookings, a minimum of two guests is required. The cottage is five minutes drive from Hunter Valley galleries and major wineries and restaurants, and less than two hours from Sydney. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper, who uses alcohol-based cleaning agents. Generous, reduced rates are available for week-long stays.

It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive away and Port Stephens 1 hour.

Rural Country Lodge… only 5 mins to the town of Cessnock with easy access and close to wineries. We are also on Bus Route for Concerts, Rover Coaches stop at front gate. Plenty of room to park and play, enjoy the games room, you may even spot a kangaroo. The Lodge has a beautiful deck to BBQ, relax and unwind. It's only a short 5 min drive to neighboring Vineyard's, only 7 mins to Cedar Creek, just a short drive to Hunter Valley Gardens, Mount View Wineries and Hunter Valley Zoo.
