Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Must be ok with steps, lots of steps! Located in downtown Lehighton Pa. A few minutes to historic downtown Jim Thorpe and the D&L trail for hiking, biking, rafting, wining, dining and more! Also 20 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. We have a designated parking lot if street parking isn’t available. Never a parking concern. Walking distance to Insurrection distillery, Bonnie & Clyde’s restaurant as well as many local shops.

Creekside Cabin

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

This special get away is close to stores and Poconos seasonal activities, but tucked away for your relaxation and enjoyment.

Cabin in the Trees at High Street Guesthouse

The cabin is a peaceful and serene escape, yet just a short walk away from all the attractions. The cabin is 475 square feet with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom/loft is upstairs. ***The cabin is very close to the main house and shares a backyard (nothing else is shared). The backyard is yours, including propane BBQ, outdoor fireplace, tables and chairs. You can listen to music, talk and have fun outside as late as you like.

The Shanty is a one room 200 sq.ft. cottage for a weekend get-away, a short to long-term work assignment or the perfect spot for creative work like composing or writing. It is three miles from access to the Appalachian Trail and is an ideal respite for thru hikers. It is a quiet, sunny room just a few steps from a private bathroom in the main house. Right in the heart of downtown historic Jim Thorpe this home, built in 1896 sleeps up to 6 people. The home has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. The second floor includes a formal sitting room with large windows overlooking the town's main street, one bedroom has a queen sized bed There is a large bathroom with a modern walk in shower. The third floor where you will find two additional bedrooms with full sized beds.

A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
