The cottage has a breathtaking view of the Chilhowee mountain which is visible from the dining room, living room, master bedroom, front porch, and back deck. There are three outdoors tables with chairs. It sleeps six comfortably with the option of an air mattress for extra people or the sofa. It has a creek in the yard. It is 8 miles to the Ocoee river and the Hiwassee. There are so many parks to choose from because you will be right by the National Forest. Benton Falls, Gee creek Falls..

Arrive at Hiwassee Acres, our farm, and horse ranch and let us get you into our newly remodeled two bedroom one and a half bathroom townhome. Each upstairs bedroom is spacious with a queen bed and a view of the beautiful fields in front of the unit. The main bathroom has recently been remodeled and is convenient to both bedrooms. Downstairs, is the living room with a flat screen TV, dining area, a full kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker and a half bath with washer and dryer just for you!

“On The River”

We have a climate controlled sunporch. Cable, Wi-Fi, Netflix. Handicap accessible. Kayaks and tubes available; about a 2 mile float from Ocoee dam #1 down to the dock. There are three levels of docks at the river. Gas/charcoal grill. Also, there is a fire pit with plenty of wood. The river is controlled by TVA, it's usually down in the morning so you can explore and swim, kayak and fish. Most afternoons the river is flowing for a lazy float down to our easy and accessible dock.
