The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

"The Plimmerton Beach House"

"ABSOLUTE BEACH FRONT!" no kidding. smack bang on the beach in Plimmerton. Step off the deck onto the permanent sandy beach, yes really. Its a beach holiday experience. Fully furnished everything included, out door living at its best including-Spa, Hammocks, hot shower, kayaks, boogie boards, beach games, BBQ. So swim, shower, spa, hammock, eat, movie sleep and push repeat. Stroll along the beach for fish and chips or down to the train station for a night in town. Bachy and relaxed.

Waterloo Haven

Tucked away in Waterloo, 5min walk to Open Polytechnic, our private guest studio is cosy & comfy. Your own entrance & outdoor area in the trees & native bird life. A very comfortable king bed, ensuite bathroom (shower has great pressure!) & everything you’ll need to make a cuppa or heat dinner in the microwave. 2 minute walk to Riverside Drive, Waiwhetu stream & Te Whiti Park. Golden Gate Getaway is a cosy self contained apartment with a private entrance. It has a cosy master bedroom, a fully functioning kitchen with basic supplies & tea/coffee, a simplistic bathroom/laundry area and a brightly lit lounge room with TV, fast unlimited wifi & board games! We have set up a new work desk area too. There is close public transport to the city and access to water on both sides!

Located between the beach and Jackson Street this beautifully renovated cottage offers all the comforts of home. Enjoy sitting under the covered deck while you BBQ, or in the sun on the patio. If you prefer to cook inside, a fully equipped kitchen is provided There is a self contained studio off the rear of the driveway. The studio has no access the cottage or its private deck and garden.
