Welcome to the Sea Star~ a cozy yurt you'll find bright, rustic, and well-kept in a rural Northwest neighborhood 5 miles from maritime Port Townsend. Yurts are round sturdy canvas structures. Ours has a full kitchen, queen sized bed, indoor powder room, attached shower room, a compact parking spot, and private deck in a temperate rainforest setting. Free of streetlights to enjoy stargazing. Pets welcome. Not suitable for small children or infants. Your hosts, Mark and Sara, live on the property.

Enjoy the outdoor patio with a fire pit, relax in the 104-degree hot tub. Observe local wildlife. Just a short drive to Sequim's shops, hiking trails, and near Olympic National Park, the perfect blend of rustic charm and convenience for your getaway.

Shippen's Cabin

Located in the foothills of the Olympics, Shippen's Cabin offers the comforts of home in a wilderness retreat. The cabin is an ideal location to base your hiking adventure, or simply come to enjoy some time away from the city while exploring the area's many attractions. Relax after a long day on the trail with a hot sauna or a meal on the deck and enjoy the wilderness setting, often visited by local wildlife. High speed WiFi is available for those that need to stay connected during their stay.

The Nature Refuge

From the organic mattress to the garden space outside your door, I hope to offer you a space you will feel comfortable that adds to your stay in Port Townsend. Our cozy country retreat is a 700 sq ft, 1 king bed, 1 bathroom house above a garage on 5 acres at the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. Enjoy beautiful views of the mountain valley and wildlife sighting from the deck or hot tub. 15 minutes to Sequim, 35 minutes to Port Angeles, and 40 minutes to Port Townsend. So close to these towns but a world away. The entrance staircase has 13 steps. No cell reception for most carriers but we have strong starlink wifi.
