Welcome to Shirttail Canyon Cabins! This spacious cabin is ready for you to come and enjoy a peaceful hillside getaway in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. It’s located back in the canyon, bordered by many acres of National Forest Service land. Bring the whole family and experience Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Mickelson Trail, Wind and Jewel Caves, Crazy Horse and more just minutes away! More cabins have been recently finished nearby and can be great for family reunions or retreats!

Custer Cabin - Close to everything!

Our renovated cabin is just a short ride from Custer. Here you will find seclusion but will be close to everything the Black Hills offers. The cabin has recently updated fiber optic internet, TV, and Roku for work and entertainment. Linens are provided and there is the convenience of a washer and dryer. In the well-equipped kitchen, prepare meals to enjoy while relaxing on the deck or in front of the campfire. This is a great landing spot after a full day of activities! - No pets or smokers -

Walk, bike or run on the 109 mi Mickelson trail. We are also 2 hours from Badlands Nat'l Park. This area is rich in beauty and history so be sure to get out and explore!

Buffalo ranch next door! Direct access to the Mickelson Trail in Custer, SD! Large living space with separate barn-dominium, with a King bed, and private bathroom and laundry facilities. The main home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Additional rooms include a bunk room and a queen bedroom. Beautiful and peaceful scenery just minutes to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, 1880 Train, Evens Plunge and so much more. Propane Grill and outdoor furniture by the creek.

Horse Lovers Bunkhouse 2, 'Head Wrangler Cabin'

One of two cabins located on a working quarter horse ranch 4 miles south of Hot Springs. The Bunkhouse has a queen bed and a single bed in a separate room, a full bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. There is no wifi. We have facilities for guest horses. @ 35-50 horses on the ranch Abundant wildlife in the area which includes deer, turkeys, coyotes, foxes, bats, snakes , etc. The other cabin is listed under Bunkhouse.

The Pringle Mercantile

This is an old mercantile converted into a 2 bedroom with partition wall rental. It has 2 queen beds, and a twin day bed with trundle pull out. Located on a gravel main street! Close to many local attractions. We have a cooktop and a BBQ, but there is no oven at this location. Located: 1 block to the Mickelson Trail 10 Minutes to Wind Cave 20 Minutes to Custer State Park 25 Minutes to Crazy Horse 40 Minutes to Mount Rushmore 40 Minutes to Evans Plunge 40 Minutes to Jewel Cave
