Built in the early 1940's, this cozy 1 room lodge is just the place to get away from it all. Great room is open concept containing double bed (which is a murphy bed!), a twin daybed, kitchen, living area w/ TV, dining. Laundry, bunk bedroom, and bathroom are located off of the main room. Property owners live on adjoining lots. 2 adults/2 kids ideal.

Located in the charming and quiet town of Newbern (Dublin), the “Do Better” Cottage is an ideal and cozy play to rest your head when visiting the New River Valley. Whether passing through for the weekend or needing a few weeks in the area, the Do Better Cottage is equipped with all the necessities from a full kitchen, full bath, high speed internet, and bedroom. This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.
