Despite a few improvements over the years, the cabin maintains its character reminiscent of its heritage. Relax on the large, covered deck and watch boats come and go all day or, lose yourself in a book in the over-sized chair in the reading nook. Forest & Forage House: Privacy on Quadra Island

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful timber frame vacation home. Built mainly from wood sourced from the surrounding forest, this private paradise is conveniently located within 5 Kms of all Quadra Island amenities. The tranquil landscape includes big trees, perennial flower and vegetable gardens, an expansive lawn that is great for an afternoon bocce session, and many private areas to escape with a glass of wine. A separate office and a new wood fired sauna is also available for guests!

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Please note that the suite is in the lower part of our house and is only accessible by a steep set of stairs. We ask that you restrict your noise between the hours of 10pm and 7am.
