Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik

A lakeside cabin at the foot of Medalfell mountain with direct access to the lake. A peaceful place with a beautiful lakeview where you can relax to the gentle sounds of the water. On the terrace is a barrel sauna with a beautiful view over the lake. The surrounding area is full of nature and a good starting point for little hikes. Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

About 1 hour 20 minutes from Keflavík International Airport. About 45 minutes from Reykjavík city centre. About 36 minutes from Þingvellir National Park. From Reykjavík, please take the second Route 460 entrance. The final 3.5 km is a typical Icelandic countryside gravel road. If using the first Route 460 entrance, the gravel section is about 7 km. Please note: For bookings of 3 guests, a comfortable temporary single bed will be prepared in the living room for the third guest.

This beautiful cabin is only 40 min from Reykjavík for 4 people in two queen size beds (one bedroom and a loft). Hot tub, gas grill, wifi, Netflix, bathroom with shower and cozy fireplace. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

Cosy cabin located on a farm only 20 minutes from Reykjavík!:) on the way to the golden circle which offers room for 4 people. Come and stay at our farm and visit our wonderful animals. There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. Very good for families. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.

Cozy little cabin in the quiet and beautiful countryside of Kjos, panoramic views of mountains and the surrounding countryside. Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking paths. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. For summertime visits (July), we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.

Einnig aðeins 15 mínútna keyrsla að Hvammsvík hot spring. Hér færðu sveitasælu í íslenskri náttúrufegurð en ert samt örstutt frá miðborginni og gullna hringnum. Fullkomin staðsetning. Rafmagn, heitt og kalt vatn og hiti í gólfinu er í húsinu.

It has a simple but well equipped kitchen, electric heating and shower. It is ideal for groups of 4 or 5 but can accommodate up to 7 guests if utilizing the double sofa bed in the living area.

A cozy and rustic studio by the sea. A small cabin located behind our house. Kitchen, bathroom and a queen size bed. Movie projector with Netflix and other stations. Dartboard and cattle bells. Wonderful getaway in Iceland

Very nice and homey cabin in wonderful nature, only 45 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The cottage is located close to lake Meðalfellsvatn which is a beautiful lake with great fishing conditions.
