Smugglers Getaway on the St. Lawrence River

Enjoy your privacy in this waterfront cabin in the historic Smugglers Cove on the St. Lawrence River in the heart of the 1000 Islands. You'll have use of the entire cabin with fantastic River views from your own patio. Conveniently located off of the 1000 Islands Parkway, one of the most beautiful scenic drives in North America, guests may enjoy walking, hiking and cycling the paved and scenic 37 km Waterfront Trail. You're welcome to arrive by boat or car; private entrance to your cabin.

Riverside Cabin & Nature Trails

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Here, you can sizzle your favorites on the grill, lounge in the Adirondack chairs on the balcony, or simply relax indoors. Come evening, gather by the firepit on the porch to watch the fireflies dance or relax in the hot tub on the back porch. It's the ideal blend of natural serenity and homely comfort. In the winter, cozy up by the woodstove in the living room and catch up on your favorite TV shows.

The Owl's Nest- close to SLU

Welcome to our peaceful and centrally-located home. Our rental is a 5-minute walk to SLU's campus. Located on a quiet street with plenty of parking. This rental is hosted by Kelley and friend Laura. We are happy to share our favorite restaurants and places to visit in our beautiful town. Let us know if you need anything at all! All renters are welcome to visit the famous, HOOT OWL for a complimentary drink on us! Arrival and departure times are flexible if available.

The Appleton Chalet

This peaceful chalet is just a stone’s throw to the St. Lawrence University campus and the Appleton Ice Arena and athletic complex. Park and never have to get in your car again to access all things St. Lawrence. There is one queen bed, one king bed, and two daybeds that turn into kings, making the space great for families visiting the beautiful North Country or parents in town for St. Lawrence activities. Once you visit, you’ll never want to stay anywhere else in Canton.
