The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

Como se trata de um apartamento numa moradia com vários espaços, o exterior pode ser usado como passagem por outras pessoas. No entanto, há mesa e cadeiras exteriores para uso exclusivo dos hóspedes.

Casa de estilo rústico, Localizada numa freguesia tipicamente rural, muito tranquila em plena serra do Parque natural da Peneda do Gerês. Ideal para umas merecidas férias ou fins-de-semana, onde pode usufruir de uma magnifica paisagem com vista sobre o lago da barragem da Caniçada com acesso directo ao mesmo, onde descanso e o conforto são garantidos. A casa está mobilada, tem roupa de cama e banho, ar condicionado, churrasqueira no jardim e parque de estacionamento.

Welcome to our cozy two-story home by the lake! We’ve kept the charming granite façade typical of the region, while the interior is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. Located in the heart of Peneda-Gerês National Park, you’ll have access to scenic hikes, thermal baths, and breathtaking nature. Just 1 hour from Braga and 90 minutes from Porto. P.S. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.
