Nestled in the heart of a majestic redwood forest, our home offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With towering trees as your neighbors and the ocean just a short drive away, you'll have the best of both worlds!

Quiet peaceful private sunny

This is a quiet peaceful 11.5 x 14’ studio attached to the back of the house. There are two large skylights which fill the room with warm light. Across the street, a 40 acre public park with hiking trails into the redwoods & to the creek which runs behind the house and studio. Located near the end of the road there is almost no traffic, no streetlights and no sidewalks. Redwoods tower above, home to hawks, owls and woodpeckers. Shopping, restaurants and Niscene Marks State Park 5 minutes away.

It is over 610 square feet with 4 separate rooms and French doors leading to our back garden with areas to relax. We are a short walk to the beach along Monterey Bay. By car you will be half way between Santa Cruz and Carmel by the Sea for shopping, dining or entertainment with many beaches to visit in between.

It's a short 2 minute walk to the beach providing a great anchor for days at the beach, yet it's only a few miles from Santa Cruz. We're two minutes from a deli, restaurant, coffee shop, and corner store. Only a little bit further you can find many more restaurants, a grocery store, and Aptos Village. We're also very close to Nisene Marks and other wonderful hikes.

200 steps to the beach, not beachfront. Furnished two story home across from Rio Sands hotel. Nearby restaurants, walk/jog path, whale watching, etc. Dog friendly(2 dogs max. with dog fee! Front yard with patio set to enjoy the outdoors. Two bedrooms and 1 bathroom/shower located on 2nd floor up a flight of stairs. Wi-Fi included. Amenities : Washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. 2 car private parking available in the back of the house.

Our home was originally built in the 1930s. The previous owners lived here until we purchased it in 2016. In the ’90s, her grandkids added onto the house and put up a wall to create a small one-bedroom unit for her to live in and they stayed in the rest of the house while caring for her. When we bought the house, we made some light updates, and we feel really lucky to now be able to share this small space with guests visiting Santa Cruz County.

Cozy, budget-friendly apartment in the heart of Capitola Village. Just 1-2 blocks from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Compact space with 1 bedroom, pullout couch, and kitchenette. Shared outdoor area. Best for guests who value location over luxury. We allow 1 dog, up to 30 lbs, with a $25/day pet fee. There is potential for noise due to it being the bottom unit.
