There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

A grade II listed house with excellent views of the Ceiriog Valley at Pontfadog North Wales, 4 miles from Chirk/Llangollen. Tan-y-Garth Hall is normally run as a yoga and study retreat by a charity, some rooms sometimes available for self catering stays: WE CAN NOT HOST CHILDREN UNDER AGE 7 OR PETS FOR HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS. Dating back to 1269, it is the earliest property in the township with the unusual distinction of having been a double water mill. Although no evidence of the mill remains, If you stop and stare for a while you may get a sense of days gone by when the water mill would have turned day and night, grinding flour for the local folk.
