Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

UnelmaKaukelo on täydellisesti remontoitu kelohuoneisto Rantaruka 1:ssä aivan Kesäjärven tuntumassa Rukakeskuksen alueella. Tilaa on 40 neliötä ja yöpymispaikkoja löytyy 4 hengelle. Olohuoneen upea, massiivinen takka luo tunnelmaa ja lämpöä lomalaisten mieliin. Modernissa keittiössä voit valmistaa maukkaita ruokia ja tehdä vaikka terveelliset pirtelöt retkievääksi. Saunassa voit nauttia pehmeistä löylyistä ja rentoutua ”tähtitaivaan” alla.

Moisasenharju Rukatunturi

Cozy cottage near by Ruka (5km). Only three semi-detached houses in the same area. The nearest grocery store (Sale market) is 3 km away. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. The rental includes 1 bag of firewood.
