Traditional French dishes serving local ingredients with a variety of menus based on what produce is available during that season.
J’adore Le Majestique! The food is delicious, the wine is tasty, and people are lovely. I love decor, especially the antiques. C’est beau. Très majestique.
Traditional French cooking with butter and wine; this is what I consider to be one the Plateau-Mount-Royals finest.

Best poutine in Montréal! Hands down.
It’s an eclectic 50’s style diner run by cool people who sling burgers, fries, poutines, and pints. It’s kinda punk rock; the people are kind with great music.
It’s always busy but don’t be shy. It’s worth the hustle. I’d recommend the traditional poutine with a beer. A seat near the window over looking Mount Royal is ideal!
It’s always busy! But keep in mind it’s closed during the winter seasons.

Mamie Clafoutis is by far my favourite bakery! They make me blush every time I go in because I love them so much.
They have perfected the quiche. J’adore le petit quiche pour une petit déjeuner. The grilled vegetables with goat cheese is like ratatouille in a quiche. C’est magnifique.
Thé clafoutis, quiche, baguettes, crossaient, breads, everything is amazing!
There is a sitting area above the bakery with wifi in where one can work and eat.
I saw a lady with a Tuna sandwich on a baguette with a coffee on a tray last week. I was envious of her as I took my quiche to go. It looked delicious. I have friends who spend their breakfast and/or lunch here while working. I’ve only ever ordered to go but it’s a great place to stay.
