This is an awesome park with historic buildings that have been moved here, like a 1950s diner with (plastic) food inside, an old five and dime, and old historic motel, an old farm, etc. They also host concerts.

The trading post loop is my absolute favorite short hike. It is about a 15-minute drive from here. There is a gift shop with a Red Rocks rocker museum and a John Denver statue. The loop is a beautiful trail with breathtaking views. It only takes about 45 minutes to hike. Great for dogs (leashes required).
