There are many spots to get coffee nearby. We really liked their coffee. It's a darker roast and excellent. Don't get me started on the baked goods. The cinnamon bun was the size of your head. Definitely worth a visit.

Carolina Beach, if you have 4 wheel drive you can drive on the beach. Local tip, to avoid crowds we love to go around 3-4:00 and pack food and drinks to have dinner and sit on the beach and watch sunset.
