This private but very accessible cabin is ideally located for enjoying the great outdoors of northern Maine through all 4 seasons. With unspoiled lake views from each bedroom and the living area, a large deck with a partial porch, and all the modern amenities, this enchanting getaway will see to all your needs. With Fort Kent, Madawaksa, Edmundston, and Saint Agatha all within 20 minutes, you will have plenty of well established towns to explore. We call it The Decompression Chamber for a reason

We offer everything to make you feel at home. We are also pet friendly. Enjoy your own space with private entrance, 1 bedroom (king bed with heated mattress if reqd) plus extra sleeping space on a queen pull out sofa. *air mattress and/or inflatable toddler bed also available for extra sleeping (by request)* Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with full size washer/dryer. Five minutes to border crossing to Maine, USA (Fort Kent). Close to ski resorts (5 mins) and scenic snowmobile trails.

Reeds & Rushes Lakeside Cottage

Reeds and Rushes Lakeside cottage sits on 5 acres on Long Lake in northern Maine in the quiet town of Saint Agatha. This quaint cottage is professionally renovated with exquisite detail. A public boat launch is a quarter mile down the road to conveniently launch your boat and bring it over to our private dock. In the winter, there is ample parking for your snowmobile trailer and access from the property to the lake trail. Unfortunately, this exceptionally clean abode does not allow pets.

Eagle's Nest Lodge on the River

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located on the St. John River at the crown of Maine. Recently constructed as our retirement getaway, we decided it was too nice not to share with others to enjoy as well. It offers a perfect location for nature lovers, ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts, waterfowl, deer, moose, bear hunters and more! An American bald eagle's nest is located close enough you can sit on the 40' deck that's facing the river and enjoy watching them.

With accommodations for 6, and room for more, this is the ideal spot for a retreat. Gram’s cabin is 20 minutes from Plaster Rock, and 40 minutes from Mount Carleton.
