Cohune Palms River Cabanas: The Iguana Cabana

Set aside from the others, the iguana cabana is perfect for a private getaway. Here you will find a little piece of paradise nestled in the jungle alive with the melodious sounds of tropical birds and the gentle sound of the Mopan River flowing close by. There is a large deck built over the river - perfect for doing yoga, swinging on the rope swing into the river for a swim, or just enjoying the view. A restaurant with excellent local cuisine is open for guests.

These rooms are smaller in size than all other room types and face our parking lot area; however, they are equipped with all basic hotel room amenities for a comfortable stay. These rooms are available with 1 Double and 1 Single bed and are appropriate for guests looking for a budget-friendly room without sacrificing the service.
