Walmer Green is the hub for summer events including the famous Deal Carnival in July and weekly Sunday concerts at the bandstand. Deal's award winning High Street and train station are also only a 15 minute stroll away. With pubs, cafés, and local shops selling basic provisions on the doorstep. Walmer Green is a few paces away from the apartment and throughout the summer provides the backdrop for weekly events such as the annual antiques brocante, funfair, vintage car and motorbike displays, food market.

The property is a Grade II listed residence that has very recently been fully refurbished. It was formerly owned by the Queen Mothers interior designer, Lady Barbara Davy, and retains much of her original style, now upgraded to modern day standards. Our cottage is set back approx 12 metres of the busy main A258. We are approx 2 miles from main Deal town.

Situated at the end of a private country track, opposite the village cricket pitch and only two minutes walk away from a lovely country pub. The Wickets has a large secluded garden and log fired Scandi hot tub. The perfect location for local beaches and countryside walks. The cottage is based on our property but has its own private garden and entrance. Dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £25. The property has a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 small children or one extra adult.
