Escape the city in this unique underground stay. Located just outside the city and a quick drive to Mt. Hood. You are sure to leave relaxed and recharged after being surrounded by nature. Soak in your own private hot tub overlooking a forested ravine. The underground space is climate controlled equipped with AC/heat. Connect with nature while you enjoy the massive covered patio with a bbq and games. Ask the owners to hangout with the friendliest Pygmy goats and take photos to cherish the memory.

Sandy River Sanctuary and Sauna

Treat yourself to the lower suite of our Sandy River home located just 2 miles from downtown Troutdale, OR. Our suite includes a sauna and an indoor soaking tub (not jetted.) We live above the suite and we have a toddler who is in daycare during the work hours and typically sleeps from 7pm to 7 am. There is a locked, sound absorbing accordian door. Yet, you may still be able to hear us from time to time. We are located on a scenic hwy minutes away from Edgefield and the Columbia River Gorge.

Sweet Private Suite in Historic Home

Mary and I love hosting people who appreciate a comfortable experience and beautiful space. Our Private Suite is located in an idyllic setting central to all the activities, great food and nature that the greater Portland area is known for, but without the "junk" that comes with being in the city. Short drives to Portland, Mt Hood hiking and skiing, the Columbia River, Multnomah Falls and great entertainment at McMenamin's "Edgefield (15 Min)" and "Grand Lodge" (35 min.). Infants 0-2 welcome.

Quail Hollow, private studio

This studio has a kitchenette, sink, fridge, toaster oven, microwave, toaster, coffee and hot water maker. There is a queen bed, leather chair, dining table and chairs, a few books and some games. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub, walk in shower, and vanity sink The windows face farm/woodland views and there is a 1/2 mile woodland trail out the back door. This studio is clean with awesome artesian well water. You can park 10 feet from the door and pets are welcome, I have a $15/day pet fee.

Mt. Hood Summer Getaway: 1BR Apartment

Welcome to your private one-bedroom apartment in Welches, Oregon! Just 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows, this cozy retreat is perfect for two guests (or three with a child under 12). Located on the first floor of our home, the apartment has high-speed internet and a comfy space to unwind after adventure. Since we live upstairs, you may occasionally hear footsteps. This open studio has 15 ft ceilings allowing ample sunlight and a large, light feeling. This house was designed and built by me my friends so no detail is overlooked or unintentional. Located between Mt. Hood and the Columbia Gorge! Cozy private studio, with a separate entrance on 2 quiet acres. This small studio has a comfortable queen bed with luxury linens throughout. A tiny kitchenette supplied with coffee, organic half and half, an assortment of tea, bottled water, and a few snacks. Wifi and YouTubeTV provided. Grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater, gym, and hiking trails just to name a few amenities all within 1 to 3 miles of our home.

Our stunning 5 acre retreat, conveniently located 2 miles NE of Sandy, is away from the rush of city life. It is ideally situated between Portland and Mt. Hood. Sharing land with our house, this charming suite is entirely private & hidden. Our property includes a lush park, tranquil pond, areas to walk around and relax in, and access to the Sandy River. This location is so close to the river that you can hear its soothing and constant flow over and between the rocks.

Close to PDX, Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. The Garden Apartment has a private entrance from the main house. The bedroom has a queen bed along with two futons in the living area. There is a full kitchen and laundry room. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Columbia River from the covered patio with a futon for lounging, and table and chairs for your outdoor enjoyment. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
