House at the Ria

'House at the Ria' is located in the green resort of Pedras d’el Rei. Staying here means you’re right by 'Ria Formosa', a long course of sea water with the most wonderful and remote beaches in the Algarve. Here you have all you need only 10 minutes walking distance: restaurants, supermarket, kids club, tennis court, and even a cosy piano bar, located around the swimming pools of the resort, with free daybeds and a lifeguard. It’s the only place near Tavira where you can just walk to the beach!

The proximity to the sea and beach life is noticeable, the sun shines on the terrace from ca. 10 in the morning, until beautiful sunset. There are many lovely restaurants within walking distance and small genuine groceries stores. Santa Luzia has its own small fishing boat fleet and you can always catch fresh fish or squid, and it is safe and cozy.

Tavira island can be accessed using a 5 minutes ferry to Terra Estreita beach, literally 80 meters away from your doorstep, or you can simply walk (3km approximately) to Barril Beach using the pedestrian bridge to cross.
