This modern/luxurious home featuring a large living room/dining/kitchen/work area combo, dramatic bay windows, textured stone wall/fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, modern amenities, cozy bedroom, specially commissioned artworks, laundry, and spa-like bathroom, this suite offers you a home away from home.

Our charming SOFA District Victorian (on 2nd St.) is 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to San Jose McEnery convention center, center for performing arts, SJSU, restaurants, Tech Museum, rock climbing, Ritz & bars. SAP (Sharks & concerts) is a 15 minute walk. (We are in the real downtown perimeter.) This reservation is for our fully-loaded, newly remodeled detached unit bedroom studio in the back of the home. To add guests beyond 2, cots and twin mattresses need to be added, so please schedule.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place near downtown San Jose.This is a private back unit with its own designated parking in a gated home. Smart key check in. You have your own washer and dryer, a walk in closet, private bathroom and king size bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with Keurig coffee maker, rice maker, air fryer, Brita water pitcher and toaster. The TV has 100+ channels for your enjoyment of international movies. There is a shared outdoor patio and BBQ grill.

SJ Downtown Hensley House Private 3rd Floor

Welcome to the Hensley House of San Jose. It gained historical landmark distinction in 1990. It was the former home of San Jose Mayor Samuel Hensley who was responsible for developing San Jose from a small settlement to a large city in the Mid 1860’s. This house was originally built in 1894 and still retains it’s old world charms, but updated with modern amenities for your comfort. All seven units enjoy their own bathrooms, and large common living area, dinning area, and outdoor garden.
