We have been visiting the Poconos for a number of years. Finally, we had decided to move there permanently…haven’t looked back since. This area is everything outdoorsy kind of people can look for – so much to see and do! As far as the chalet, we have been told by multiple groups that the kitchen is very well-stocked. The place is prepared with the intention of making it a themed, cozy, affordable, and above all clean place where our guests can enjoy themselves, no matter where they come from.

A lovely spot to relax in the rural countryside. Enjoy the fresh country air and observe the neighboring livestock. 6 miles to Lake Wallenpaupack. Nearby hiking trails at Lacawac Sanctuary, Schumans point and Varden conservation . Horseback riding at Why-Not riding stable. Antique shops and boutiques in historic Hawley and Honesdale. A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
