Looking for a quick getaway to the Yarra Valley? Unwind and relax at Grasmere Cottage set on our 32 acre farm and just a short hop away from some of Victoria's finest wineries and wedding locations. Experience the joy of sharing the property with alpacas, cows, chickens and wildlife. Bookings for three nights or more will receive a complimentary cheese platter. We allow small dogs at the Cottage (under 10kg) but if your pooch is larger - you can always book our second property Grasmere Lodge.

Little House on the Hill

The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.

You can enjoy your quiet stay with the company of farm animals outside your window. There are many animals on the farm which you can feed, including a donkey, goats and pony. Offering a minimum of one night stay for a quick getaway or to stay longer & enjoy the peace, light the fire pit, which is under cover, ideal if it's raining (made from a beer keg), and roast marshmallows.
