This home is a spacious converted barn with 2 bedrooms, and kitchen/family room, studio, loft and one bathroom. It is set in the woods just a few miles from Lake Superior. Being off the shore of Lake Superior has it's advantages--it is quieter and at night so dark that if it is clear you can reach out and touch the millions of stars in the sky. The grounds are ample with a large covered patio and fire ring. Reservations less than 2 day prior please message us we will do our best to accommodate.

Heart of Superior Lake Cabin: 15 Mi to Lutsen Mtn!

Blend peace and quiet with outdoor adventure at this Schroeder vacation rental. The quaint 2-bedroom, 1-bath 'Serenity' cabin is great for nature-loving families and small groups, nestled on Lake Superior's shoreline. Large picture windows and skylights allow natural light in while the deck provides panoramic lake views for miles. In the warmer months, hike, bike, or rock climb at Temperance River and Tettegouche State Parks. During wintertime, head to Lutsen Mountain for skiing and snow sports!

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Birch Knoll Rustic 2 Bedroom

Relax in a wilderness setting on a little Pequaywan Lake. Enjoy an outdoor patio fire pit and a grill area, overlooking the lake. A sauna also available . Inside you will find a FULLY equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. All linens included. No pets allowed. This is a private lake so no boat access available. One canoe and one kayak with life jackets provided. Take the path to the water where there is a dock, (this is a little steep). Located 35 minutes to Duluth AND Two Harbors.

Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king gel memory foam bed on main floor. Smart TV, wi-fi. Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly as the main heat source. All wood is provided for woodstove and firepit. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. A beautifully private north woods retreat any time of year!

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
