The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. Stunning one bedroom apartment at the bottom of a house in the historical village of Velbastaður with spectacular uninterrupted sea views. 10 min drive from the capital Tórshavn and a short drive to Kirkjubøur and Sandoy ferry. Regular sightings of porpoises and numerous seabird species and occasional whale sightings (seasonal). Opportunity to use jacuzzi and sauna for additional charge of 200kr upon request. Hytte i Húsavík, Sandoy

Næsten 200 år gammelt fredet stenhus i den i historiske bygd Húsavík på Sandoy. Du bor tæt på naturen i et gammelt traditionelt færøsk stenhus med græs på taget, vægge af træ og træ- og stengulve. Huset er i en længe, hvor du går igennem ’røgstuen’ (hvor sovepladsen er) ind i stuen (glasstuen). I røgstuen er der højt til loftet, mens der i stuen er lavere, med udsigt over havet. Badeværelse af ældre dato, og et lille køkken med nye elementer og opvaskemaskine.

It is a peaceful place close to a grocery, restaurant, a bowling alley, a shop with local craft, art and boat museum, and also Viking ruins. There are good conditions for fishing and fishing gear is available. There is free parking, Wi-Fi and cable TV.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.
