Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

This fantastic home is great for families on the go. There are 4 private bedrooms - each with a queen bed, a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and 2 living rooms! The dining room seats 8. We have a foosball table, two 50” TVs, and a PlayStation 3 to keep you having fun!
