Our incredible homestead nestled in the woods is the perfect place to make memories. Make it a getaway in the Gorge. Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

Blackbird Cottage on Carson Creek - Entire Suite

Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen & dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer plus a deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin providing sleeping for 7. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & a picnic area or take a short hike to an overlook of the Columbia River Owner lives downstairs. No animals (allergies).

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Cozy & Private A-Frame: Mount Hood National Forest

Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. River’s Rest..only 45 minutes from PDX, and Multnomah Falls, gateway to the Columbia Gorge. Hiking just minutes away. Huge fire-pit and covered porch over-looking the river. Great if you get to work from home. You have your own Wi-Fi land-line telephone. Once your work day is over you can enjoy what the Columbia Gorge has to offer. EV charging is available. The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.

This quaint 1910 cottage in a quiet neighborhood is a 4 minute walk to downtown Stevenson’s restaurants, shopping and breweries, and a 6 minute walk to the shore of the Columbia River. Located on a quiet street in Stevenson’s oldest neighborhood, Acorn Cottage offers guests a peaceful respite and the opportunity to ‘hide in plain sight’ in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge.
