Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. This uniquely decorated space is off of the alley so you won't be bothered by the trains (although the depot is right across the road). You will also have a great view of the river while enjoying the beautiful court yard. The space boasts a historic Iowa State Penitentiary decor. Pictures, history and unique features will immerse you into one of the draws of SE Iowa.

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

This luxuriously appointed mid century home opens onto a private deck and parklike garden. It feels like being in the country even though it is just a few blocks to the town square and similarly close to the university. The local grocery store is two blocks down an elley that feel like a country road. A truly tranquil retreat. Free bicycles make it easy to get around and enjoy the 17 mile bike trail that circles the town.
