Enjoy our private deck with spacious views towards the Rondout Valley and the Catskills, and a large fenced in yard, great for pets. If you are looking for a peaceful escape still convenient to all the great activities in the Hudson Valley has to offer, this is it. We are 2 hrs by car from NYC.

The cottage is a hop to the Walkill Valley Rail Trail that hugs the Monhonk Preserve. Inside the cottage, you will feel warm and cozy, just like home. The Rosendale trestle and Joppenberg Mountain are a quick walk or bike ride away. Shops, amenities close by. Your pups will Love the yard! Easy access to trails for XCountry skiing/snow shoes. Dog fee is $75 per dog, 2 dog max. Dogs over 50 pounds are special request. Rosendale swimming pool open is to public. $75 for guest 3 and $75 for guest 4.

The Swan Cottage was built in 1923 and was fully renovated in 2020. The idyllic location, on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, is the perfect perch to relax and get away from it all. The front porch is a nice spot to have a cup of coffee and watch the sailboats on the river, while the huge wraparound porch affords terrific views of the river as well as the forest that gives this home a feeling of being high in the tree tops.
