This A-frame cabin is nestled between Suicide Rock and Lily Rock within a pine forest along Strawberry Creek in upper Fern Valley, close to the hikers’ treasure, Humber Park. Peaceful is our goal and Cleavage Cabin has recent upgrades, furnishings, and amenities to provide a woodsy charm and a quality of stay we hope draws you, your family and friends back for more!

The Owlz Downlow

“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.

Stylish cabin, fully stocked - perfect for weekend getaways, longer retreats, or remote work trips. Two decks (upper and lower) overlook a sizable fenced yard giving kids and dogs a safe place to explore. The cabin has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. Treetop Hideout · On 2.5 Acres of Private Forest

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.

Black Pine Cabin - Clean & cozy chalet!

This beautifully maintained Mountain Home has 2 bedrooms & 2 baths, located on a flat spacious corner lot. The main level has an all natural wood great room, a cathedral ceiling with soaring windows that captures the forest views & a glass front wood stove on a stone hearth. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, and a dining area that opens to a wrap around deck. The open, upper loft level has a wonderful spacious bedroom suite with bathroom.

Cantilevered & Perched on a protruding boulder at tree level, this is Dennis McGuire’s first house built on the hill. With clear day views to the edge of LA and the beach near Laguna, this California-Zen sanctuary is a unique architectural gem.
