Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home in Coralville, Iowa. Coralville is 5 minutes from Iowa City. Only 5 minutes from I-80, 10 minutes from the U of I and 2 miles in all directions to many restaurants. Your section of the home is private with a separate entrance. We have a Ranch with a walkout basement. It's like an apartment within a home. The Donut Suite is the entire downstairs of our home. There is only 1 stair from where you park to the entrance of the suite.

Welcome! Come explore the wonderful area of Mount Vernon, Iowa. We are within walking distance to Main Street, its shops and eateries, Bijou Movie Theater, and Cornell College! Both Cedar Rapids and Iowa City are also a short drive away. You will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located home! The home comfortably accommodates 6 guests. A Queen Air Mattress is available for an additional 2 guests. There is a $15 fee per night per person for 7th and 8th guest. 8 guests max.

It's a quirky little weird house. 😂 Built in 1922. Its a whopping 560 sqft. It's a clean, classy decorated place for visitors to come & stay while enjoying Cedar Rapids. Relax on the little front porch to sip your morning coffee. Large TV & comfy couch. Dinning area is bright & cheery. 2 bedrooms both with FULL size beds. The bathroom is a Jack and Jill bathroom with a claw foot tub. Note..It is an extremely small bathroom. Cute galley kitchen leads to the basement with washer & dryer.

Palisades Inn East: Charming Lower-Level Apartment

This beautiful lower-level private apartment is the perfect place to stay while enjoying a visit to historic Mount Vernon. This spacious one bedroom rental includes space for 5 guests, two queen beds and a memory foam twin roll-away bed. Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

A completely separate 1 bedroom apartment (also on Airbnb) is the top half of the house, and we call that the Uptown B! Check it out on our host profile. Irish hill guests will have access to a .25 acre yard (unfenced). Only blocks away from uptown Marion!
