Even though you are less than a mile from downtown St. Charles and 4 miles to the Geneva train station you have a private area. You may see deer out your window overlooking the pool and tennis. This cozy house is set in a quiet and safe neighborhood in DeKalb IL, it has plenty of sunlight, comfortable furniture, high speed internet and TV., your pet will love our big back yard!, there is a park across the street and trails at walking distance. We are five minutes away from NIU and downtown DeKalb, and also very close to supermarkets, restaurants and coffee.

The property is 4 miles from downtown which features plenty of restaurants, shopping, antique shops. Built in 1850, the farmhouse was constructed and owned by the Clausen family until 1990. I purchased it in 2001. 5 acres with an arbor, winding walking path, fire pits, decks and a beautiful view of the country. Privacy.
