It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

The Red Earth Palace Retreat

An architectural gem with private access to natural hot springs in the Rio Grande Gorge Park. Sustainably built with cast earth walls, corrugated metal roof, radiant heat, and Japanese style mahogany wood work, plus all the amenities and comforts of a modern home. Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

This early-century Spanish Pueblo Revival home was recently reconstructed and updated, fusing traditional period structure and materials with current technology amenities, including fiber optic Internet.
