Green Door Studio

Enjoy the fresh and colourful vibe of this fully decorated studio. It has a queen and single bedroom ( with two single beds ) and a bright kitchenette, dining, living space with couch and freeview tv. It is fully self contained and has its own entrance but is attached to the main house where the hosts live. The kitchenette has a microwave and small appliances for basic cooking/reheating but is not suitable for every night cooking as there is no ventilation for strong odours.

Fresh eggs from our hens plus ingredients to cook yourself pancakes for breakfast! Or treat yourself to egg brekkie instead. Super quiet and private for a relaxing good night sleep on a firm bed with optional extra blankets and pillows. The self-contained guesthouse is adjacent to our home and contains everything you might need. Self check-in means you may not even meet us but we're available when required. Free off-street parking. Looking for family- friendly or workplace accommodation? We tick all the boxes. With 3 bedrooms, open plan living, big log fire, private off street parking on a flat section. Everything you need for cooking but if you don't feel like it a 1 min drive to a restaurant saves that hassle. There is a trampoline and a big back yard for the kids to burn off some energy. Also a games room with arcade games with toys and board games to keep them amused.

The area has recently been boosted by the opening of the Opuke Thermal Pools and Spa. Mount Hutt Skifield is likewise only a 20 min drive from the property.With Christchurch International Airport being one hour away.

Timaru Central

Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.

Peel Forest Hanger Hut

Great place to unwind and relax in a peaceful and secluded space. Beautiful lush native forest and a stunning mountain backdrop. Views down on to the Canterbury Plains from the decking, lounge and bedroom. Outdoor fire stoked bath tub.
