Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. The name Murdunna is believed to come from a local indigenous word meaning "place of the stars" Fur kids welcome 😻 we are fully fenced.

Bruny Boathouse

The Bruny Boathouse is nestled on the waterfront with panoramic views across d'Entrecasteaux Channel, Satellite Island & Hartz Mountain propped up in the background. Centrally located in the township of Alonnah on the western side of Bruny Island, The Boathouse is an ideal place to base yourself for everything that Bruny has to offer. The Hide - Private Waterfront on Beautiful Bruny.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.

Hobart area, beach and mountain views.

Situated in Kingston Beach just a 15 minute drive from the city of Hobart with a 5 -10 minute walk to the beach and local cafes and restaurants. There are various walking tracks along the water. It is in a quiet area over looking Mount Wellington and Kingston Beach with views over the River Derwent including South Arm and Opossum Bay. Kingston is the gateway to the Huon Valley and Bruny Island a 25-30 minute drive.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Our renovated apartment is just 20 m from glorious Blackman's Bay beach; at the quiet end. You can sit in the garden, enjoy the ocean view and at night be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Perfect place to just relax. Please note that during peak periods we may require a minimum stay of 6 nights; ie/. between December 24th to 30th.
