Beautifully furnished with restored and vintage furniture and a carefully curated selection of artwork and treasures. For the winter months there is a cosy wood burning heater and an outdoor fire pit .

Claret Ash Cottage is a beautiful 1890's mining cottage nestled in the hamlet of Elderslie, Hunter Valley. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.

Cherson Cottage

Cherson Cottage is a boutique four bedroom country cottage nestled beside the river in the hills of the Upper Hunter Valley, providing a secluded and quiet country stay. Our couples retreat includes a high-end featured house, sleeping only two, on a luxurious King Bed. Enjoy a couples shower overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery including the Great Dividing Range or a relaxing afternoon bath on the deck while enjoying a drink and the beautiful colours of the New England sunsets. On a chilly evening, enjoy each other’s company with the backlight of flames from the firepit, or exploring the galaxy through a telescope.
