Feed the cows, read a book on the beach, take a hike or mountain bike in the trails, nap on the porch, fish for bluegills in our lake, race the pig, skip rocks/canoe in the creek, have a bonfire (S'mores provided) & stargaze the evening sky!

We are located on 9 acres just inside the city limits of Cedar Falls. Just 1 1/2 miles west of the University of Northern Iowa Campus. We are located 10 minutes from shopping, restaurants, and more! Location! You cant get any better than the location of Sandstone Haus at Amana. Steps from boutique shopping, wineries, resteraunts, and a brewery! This two bedrooms( each with a king bed)one bathroom suite is a perfect place to spend a night, weekend, or a week in Amana. You do walk thru one bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom. The living room has a very comfortable power reclining sofa. We have two smart tv's in this space, a few apps are available on the tv for free.

Cabin Cove By the River

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

Newly renovated modern lower level of home with private entrance. Clean, comfortable, airy, spacious, bright, cheery retreat. Feels like a home away from home. Be ready to navigate 14 stairs to enter the space! The maximum number of guests the space can accommodate is four. The four guests would include any children or infants you may have in your group.
