The Bears' Den at River Rock Gardens & Cottages

The Bears' Den is one of three unique separate cottages on our property. It is a cozy studio cottage with a king bed and a twin, sleeping a family of 3. It has a small kitchen area with a microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and small refrigerator. It is not designed for full cooking...more for snacks. We can provide a charcoal BBQ. You bring your own charcoal. It is located near the pool and a short stroll to the Trinity River and decks for relaxing.

Spend time in a quiet and peace-filledl getaway. Relax on the back patio, spend time with your dog in the gated front yard or enjoy the cool of the AC inside. Shasta Dam, Shasta Lake and Centimudi boat ramp are only 2 miles away. There are also a couple great hikes and walks close by to enjoy. Plus, if you have a boat/trailer, there is room for it in the driveway. Be on the watch for the wild deer and turkeys; and listen for the frogs at night!

Our yurt is a place of tranquility & fun in the round. It’s a perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation. You have private river access located next to the Strawhouse Cafe’ across the street where you can swim, fish, relax, and/or hike nearby trails. The kitchen has a mini fridge, air fryer, toaster oven, induction plate & microwave and is stocked with cups, plates, silverware, etc. Charcoal BBQ is in share area outside.
