Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!

The Overwater Bungalow at Sundance

Beach homes are fun, but take things a step further and immerse yourself with 270-degree views of the fjord at this historic boat house. A secret passageway leads to a speak-easy-style bedroom, and then down to a private hot tub where you can soak while watching the sun set over Olympic National Park. Big Beef Spit is a five-minute walk away. A neighboring guest house and caretaker’s cottage are also both available for rent. **Please note that the loft bedroom gets chilly during cold weather.

Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. Whether it is swimming, fishing or watching the local wildlife right from the deck or hiking, waterfalls and exploring everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer within a short drive.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Bluff Suite 2 - Come to the beach!

Located on three acres with great views of the Hood Canal from the kitchen/dining area. Includes refrigerator, hot plate, microwave, Keurig and regular coffee pot, and barbecue. Short walk through the yard to the beach. Guests may bring their watercraft or use our four kayaks, row boat or pedal boat. Please return where you found it, so the tide doesn't take it away.
