You have private secured parking, a covered entertainment space with ping-pong and games. A short walk to the village gives you access to restaurants, bars, boulangerie…It’s a fun place to stay!

There are no other guests on the property. There are beautiful walks on the doorstep with a Medieval Millhouse on the Charente river 300 metres away and chemins stretching for miles around the area. The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.

Sunflower Cottage is part of a suite of terraced cottages at Gites Rue Du Chateau, with access to spacious gardens, with woodland, a beautiful clear stream running through an ancient lavoir and a covered dining terrace. We have an above ground pool, boules area, BBQs, outside kitchen with dining terrace and cosy fire pit area. Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of restaurants, bakeries, shops and market. Local activities include the Rejallant canoeing centre.

La Maison Mignonne is renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs.
