The main house is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath ranch house built in the 1970s by the Blackburns, the local high school principal and his wife. The guest house, which was originally a shop for Mrs. Blackburn to operate her floral business out of, was converted into a studio apartment in 2019 complete with a bathroom and kitchen. It's perfect for a trip with the in-laws!

Mineola - private house- a few minutes to downtown

A quiet getaway just a few short minutes from downtown Mineola and the Mineola Nature Preserve. It feels like many miles away though. Piney Gate Farm is home to a small herd of Angora goats and a few miniature donkeys and horses. The house is surrounded by woods and pasture. self checkin anytime after 3pm, checkout is 11am.
