A rustic mud brick cottage set on 21ha of river red gum forest. The property is listed as a wildlife sanctuary and is home to a diverse range of birds and animals. Bordered by the Edward River, just a 10 minute walk from the house, the property also features a large dam popular with birds, frogs, kangaroos and wallaroos. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of an echidna in the bush or a platypus is the river. There is a boat ramp nearby should you wish to fish or explore the river by boat.

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

Enjoy a relaxed and private stay in this artistic and cosy rammed earth bungalow. Set in a peaceful garden on the edge of the township of Mansfield, you are close enough to town to easily walk but still have the feeling of space and serenity. PLEASE NOTE: there is no television or wifi in the bungalow.
