It can serve as a base for walking or driving to the many pictureque villages and beaches of this mountain. The house includes a garden with shady trees, also cherries and apricots in their season, and is only two minutes away from a mini market, restaurant, pharmacie and the wonderful square. Fully equipped and provided with maps and books about the region.

Anavros Deck is situated on the seafront. It has a panoramic view to the sea and Volos' port. It is a walking distance to the center of the city along the esplanade and by the beautiful old park of Volos. It is also a few minutes walk to the Archaeological Museum of Volos, parks and playgrounds, great eating places, coffee shops and Anavros beach. Kala Nera is also a great starting point for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding, swimming in the crystal clear waters of the beaches of Pelion and skiing between January and March.
