The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

Located in downtown Strasburg, just 15 minutes away from Front Royal and Skyline Drive, the Shenandoah Siesta House is a great get away for anyone looking to go hiking in the mountains, visit local Virginian wineries, or visit historical sites. It's a quiet house walking distance from restaurants and shops downtown. Great screened in porch makes you feel like you're staying in a treehouse. Beautiful view of sunsets at night.

The "Cabbin" of historic Mountain Home is cozy, comfortable space, 120 yards east of the Appalachian Trail, on Route 522 (Remount Road), 3 miles from Front Royal, VA. 6 beds, a bathroom, small kitchen and dining area. It's located on just over 17 sprawling acres that you will have full access to, including a hot tub, stocked pond, and several private hiking trails. The Pond Cabin offers plenty of seclusion, but is also centrally located to Front Royal and a handful of wineries. **Pet friendly, but please note there is a $75 pet fee!**
