The Nest is an ideal home base for all the Gorge has to offer--hiking, biking, windsports, wine-tasting, museums and more. Barlow Cabin has great Mt Hood (11,245 feet) old growth and meadow views One mile to Trillium Lake and close to hiking trails. King sized bed main floor, 2 bedrooms 2nd floor. Note that second floor access is steep not suited for young children or disabled. Woodstove with glass window, firewood supplied but always good to bring kindling and matches) Can sleep up to 10 Sounds of Mineral Creek are heard, outdoor cedar sauna,. In winter we are 1.5 miles in on snowshoes/hiking xcountry skis

Welcome to our log cabin! We are a family with 6 kids who really love this cabin and want to share it. Please enjoy yourselves and know that we are not a big corporation but a family. The deer come out in every season, don't be surprised if you see them in the driveway. We have a feeder on the side fence for them. The cabin has comfy beds, extra blankets and pillows, a fully stocked kitchen including cast iron to cook, chilly A/C, a wood stove for winter, & new reclining La-Z-Boy couches.

Our creekside cabin features a cozy loft bedroom, kitchenette, wood stove, heat pump, full bath, and TVs with DVDs. Outside, enjoy an oversized covered deck with seating, fire pit, grill, and beautiful views of Mosier Creek and the hillside. Unwind to the sound of the water in this peaceful setting, minutes from wineries, Gorge hikes, wind-surfing and Hood River. Wi-Fi is available but can occasionally be temperamental due to our rural Starlink service.
