My returning guests love how close we are to the city, yet you'll feel you’ve escaped it. You can get to the airport quickly, and directly access native bush walks. Our unique village hosts Wellington's best bakery and Chocolatier! Grab a bite and a beverage here or jump on a bus heading into the city.

Welcome to my home a new apartment, only two years old, warm, light and modern with beautiful wooden flooring and bespoke kitchen, ideal for a couple. Queen sized bed with a comfy memory foam topped mattress, cotton sheets and bedding, modern bathroom, and wifi. Centrally located in Berhampore, bus stop across the road metres from the sprig and fern pub, Araucaria italian, gramercy baker. A short walk from Newtown and the hospital. A short bus or Uber to wellington CBD and Island bay beach.

Charming character cottage with privacy and views

Literally 2 minutes to the airport this private and cute little cottage is a tiny home nestled in native bush with greatviews over Miramar, the sea and airport. Great for plane spotting. There is a small deck where you can relax and unwind. Wake up in the morning to bird song and tuis overhead. There is a private garden to enjoy and walking and cycle ways close by. (Pase note there is a fairly steep driveway to the carpark area. Easy to drive up, not suitable to walk with a lot of luggage. )

Private studio in Island Bay

Self contained small private studio for singles or couples. Views overlooking Island Bay valley. Five minute walk downhill to the shops, cafes and a cinema nearby. A regular bus service to city and a 10 minute drive to the airport. Comfortable double bed, sink bench, microwave, bench oven, fridge, Nespresso machine, smart TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Outside areas to sit and relax. On street parking. This space is ideal for guests who prefer well-planned compact living. Hosts live upstairs.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Hidden gem, Brooklyn

Your own private 1 bedroom/bathroom unit on a quiet, sunny cul-de-sac at the city-side of Brooklyn. Free parking Perfect for singles/couples 5 min walk to: - bus stop (direct routes to central Wellington/Stadium); & - Brooklyn village (cafes & restaurants) 8 min drive (~$12 Uber) or 25 minute downhill walk to: - Willis St or Cuba St, then into CBD; or - hospital On the ground floor of our home, but with separate & secure access. Lockbox to come & go without interacting with main house

Beautifully renovated top floor one bedroom home. Comfortable sofa bed for extra guests. Perfect location for Wellington Airport, Wellington Hospital, Wellington Aquatic Centre, Weta Cave, Te Papa, Lyall Bay, 2 minute walk to TSB Sports Centre, short ride to the Pines, perfect for World of Wearable Arts WOW and concerts and events in the city, very short trip into town and Westpac Stadium! Travel cot available. There is no laundry available however we do offer a free laundry service.

Lyall Bay Studio

This is a studio unit under our house with own access from street. There is no outdoor space. Comfortable queen bed, electric blankets. The couch is not a bed. Washing machine/dryer, and washing powder supplies. Kitchen has hot plates, microwave and small bench top oven. Fridge and freezer. Sky TV. Open robe for storage. Ensuite has toilet, basin, shower, no bath. Unit is stylish and well designed, and in great condition. There is space for a SMALL car to park directly outside.

It’s conveniently located near the city centre, on the leafy hills that overlook Wellington city.

Close to Wellington CBD and 10 minutes from the airport, this self-contained studio below the main house, is perfect for business travellers or if you are coming to the city for an event or getaway. Separate access at the side of the house and a short flight of 10 steps to the studio. Shared garden with the owners. Our friendly little dog and cat will welcome you to your city haven. Comfortable queen bed, access to laundry facilities available, and a desk to work at.

"Newtown Oasis" Self contained + breakfast

Our BnB is homely, a little quirky & best suited to those who travel relatively light. Self service breakfast is included. There are 2 spaces (bedroom ± separate kitchen/bathroom) a few steps apart & linked by a covered walkway. The cosy bedroom has a queen size bed, desk for work or eating, good WiFi & comfortable seating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking & the bathroom has a great shower. The nook outside the bedroom is perfect for a morning coffee.
