Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This chalet is set high on the hill with sweeping farmland views. Fully insulated, with reverse cycle AC and a wood fire. Chalet 1 has 2 cosy bedrooms (1 King, 2 Singles), a fully equipped kitchen open to a large living room, 2 decks, a bathroom with toilet and shower . Djodjal - Bush Retreat

Welcome, we would like to invite you to enjoy a stay at our quiet, secluded bush retreat hidden away in the dairy farmlands of the West Australia's south coast. We are perfectly situated halfway between Albany and Denmark and 10 mins from the famous white sandy beaches of Cosy Corner. Our home is located on a 13 acre bush block with abundant birdlife; including Djodjal (Blue Wrens) and Ngoolya (White Tailed Black Cockatoos). We have an outdoor fire pit and BBQ area to sit and relax around.

In town, off grid, healthy stay.

Separate entrance from hosts. Only filtered rain water (including showers), non chemical soaps, washing materials, off grid (battery) power, so no failures, organic breakfast foods. No microwave oven but have an electric oven, fry pan & rice/porridge cooker & wifi is available. Large TV with sporting and movie channels available. We have a renovated home, over 100 yrs old, with real character. Please be careful with water usage as we have only rain water, but sufficient for the whole year.

Enjoy the serene views from the covered deck all year round. This is a great place to find that rural serenity and space to unwind.

Wolfes Landing - a rustic home on the inlet

Wolfe’s Landing is a beautifully rustic and quirky home overlooking the spectacular Nenamup Inlet. This chalet is named after the original Wolfes Landing - now the Albany jetty – which was the embarkation point for soldiers heading to Gallipoli. Timbers rescued from this jetty are the signature feature of this chalet, and are a poignant and constant reminder of those who have gone before us.
