The K7 Depot Cabin sits directly next to a large body of water. Conveniently located 10 miles from Pittsburg and 30 miles from Joplin. THREE GUESTS MAX NO OUTSIDE GUESTS The Cabin sits approximately 100 feet from a short line railroad track. A very small train comes through an average of 2 times a day, 1 being in the middle of the night. Usually no train on Saturdays or Sundays. If you stand on the porch you might be able to get the conductor to honk his horn at you! Bank fishing is allowed

Historic Schifferdecker Cottage

Built in 1846 and secluded on 5 gorgeous acres bordering Turkey Creek on the west and a paved walking trail on the south, this charming cottage was the home of Charles Schifferdecker, where he brewed his beer to sell in the "mining camp" called Joplin. Ironic to its seclusion, it is literally one block from the corner convenience store and mere minutes from such local destinations as MSSU, OCC & Joplin High School, as well as many restaurants and retail stores on Rangeline and Main Street.

The log cabin is located in the hills of Peoria, OK. on twenty plus acres of land. Amenities include Wi-Fi, small bathroom with shower only, TV, sleeping arrangements are a queen bed, a sofa bed, and an air mattress upon request . Lots of room outdoors to walk around, the terrain is rocky and uneven so sturdy shoes are recommended. With a small pond close by Deer, fox, skunks, raccoons and coyotes are roaming the woods so please pay attention to small animals and children when outdoors
